The Business German in Ireland Working Group is a group of third level teachers of Business German with representatives from most Irish universities, institutes of technologies and other third level colleges as well as the Goethe Institute. In 2010 the group was presented with the Kuratorium award for their ongoing work of promoting German in Ireland and their special contribution to the furthering of German-Irish relations in Ireland. The award was presented by the Kuratorium (Board of Trustees) of the German-Irish Chamber of Commerce. The group was founded in 2001 and celebrated its 10th anniversary in March 2011 with a reception and round table discussions on the importance of German in Ireland at the Germany Embassy, Dublin.
